ReplyDeleteShe s such a sweet gal whoz always been wid me n always been dere to give me her wise suggestions..She s d 1 who can neva think bad abt any1...she can even go out of her way 2 help me...Its generally said dat frequeencies of heartians and carmelites can neva match...but its not d case here...She s really a very sweet person..very down to earth..I ll always cherish d bond v hav shared...1 doesnt need to request her much to get her help...i love u for dat....

ReplyDeleteSweet and helpful but also headstrong…once she decides something she sticks to it no matter what happens…!!
Super intelligent hardly needs to study as some how the information self processes in her brain…pardon me avnet for using incorrect words and the several thousand spelling mistakes that might follow…
Before we became good friends I had been pestering her for files and assignments…In fact I message her around 20000 times per day during exams to ask her about the syllabus as well as tell her how dreadful studying the boring subjects is….in fact we mutually decide what not to study…
We have this interesting message sessions where we form senseless (obviously rhyming) poems which are extremely funny and we can continue doing that for hours together…
We chat a lot on the phone and as some people might know I can not deal with silence during a conversation…avnet tends to be quieter than me while speaking on the phone and I fill the random pauses with what I call jingles!!
Though avnet you can not deny that our phone conversations are one of a kind,,,
I will miss the special aaloos that you got they were yummy and one of a kind!!
I will miss bugging her with jokes…or what she calls PJs but as a matter of fact her jokes are even worse :P
She looks all cute in her T shirt and Jeans walking in a jolly manner with her relaxed and happy nature….She is ever ready to finish off all the possible tasks in hand in one go unlike most of us who prefer procrastinating…heh heh…
We mostly fight over which place to eat but keeping that aside we have been peacefully and happily coexisting…
I am sooo glad I got to meet her and annoy her with my randomness…She is one person I could talk to openly…discuss any problems….she has always been there for me and is soooo v down to earth!!
I remember how happy I was when I gotta know she will move into the hostel…very excited…though I was hardly ever around in the hostel!! But we have had our share of fun and of course she is a foodie…so mostly you will find us sitting and eating something somewhere!!
I also consider her as a human dictionary as she somehow knows all the words in the world!!

ReplyDeletethis gurl has got a very simple looks bt when this gurl starts speaking ,u can make out her real intelligence.......i still remember tat joke i cracked in old uiet building ka terrace nd u took tat dirty joke to a new level......then i realised luks are deceptive and its true in yaa case:):)

Avneet aka novel girl..
ReplyDeleteshe has always surprised me by her composure and patience.. I mean.. whatever levels of irritative topics (e.g. bunk topics.. :P) you may discuss with her.. she will never get angry.. and will really be calm all the time. One person who hasn't yet got angry whenever im am there to ask her for a bunk approval.. :P (Almost all the others lost their temper at some stage)
She is really fond of reading.. and has an amazing understanding of the words and works.. :) Sincere in her studies and her life to.. she takes everything seriously in a very jolly way.. An amazing attitude which is very rarely found.
In pracs, i've often been with her for performing the practical... Those pracs would become really easy as she has the potential to do it by herself.. Has great understanding of the subjects and really works hard to get things done..
An amazing girl she is.. great aptti.. :)

Avneet...for me she is Ms.Dependable..i can count on her for anything,no matter what.Extremely intelligent and at the same time absolutely chilled out.I v seen her actually transform from a complete bookworm in the 1st yr to this very open,a lot more candid and confident person now.

ReplyDeleteShe is ingenious with an exceptional IQ She is a walking dictionary for us and corrects our grammar errors. In short she is an English guide for us .So please pardon me Avneet for any further errors that might follow…
I first met Avnet when we both had gone for some Singapore airlines test and she was the only one I interacted and it was me who was doing most of the talking :) .It was way back now but now we have been friends for almost 4 years and I am going to cherish those years. I am fortunate to have her in my life
She is cool, calm and collected but is sometimes obstinate and you cannot convince her at that time!
She speaks to the point and when required.
She does not prolong any task and believes in finishing it then itself (Inspired by Kabir’s Dhoha )
Her love for books is inevitable. She can finish reading a novel in a day which might take us a week! I am envious of them because I think she enjoys their company more than ours. :(
As Arushi and I have decided to publish our joke book so our 1st customer will definitely be Avneet :).Our source of inspiration for cracking jokes has been her overwhelming response
But the truth is that she gets provoked when we crack jokes in front of her but I am quite sure that she misses them when we are not around(which rarely happens)…:)
She is the most photographed personality on record in almost all awkward poses….Of the entire album she has some favourites too

We have enjoyed a lot in the last sem hanging out together waiting for the infy class and strolling around the canteen with cappuccino in our hands and nowadays searching for NesQuick shake in no mood to attend the class:)
She is a sweetheart and it’s her carefree, jolly nature which brings out the charm in her.
I have tried to adopt it several times but failed:-(

ReplyDeleteI'm the first person who she talked to in DCET and also in UIET. When I first met Avnet during DCET orientation, she was sitting next to me and I thought it was my moral responsibility to break the ice with her but clearly, I was wrong and our first conversation ended more like an interrogation session with me being someone who's prying on Avnet's life or so she made me feel. :D
Then, we met again after the third counseling in UIET when she, along with Akanksha, shifted to EEE branch. She tug along with us and I'm really glad that she did!
Avneet did tag along but there was still a space she didn't like us sharing, so when all of us used to sit in the CIL corridors and eat and chat along, Avneet used to read her novels quietly in a corner. In short, Avneet ne humein khoob pakaaya!
But slowly and steadily, she broke her walls, she started talking to us. I still remember telling Avneet in workshop a certain day that we(Akanksha and I) just act crazy and we're not all that crazy! And now, Avneet is as much a part of the craziness a any of us is!
Avneet- The Perfect Listener!!
Avneet's best quality is that she's a patient listener and will always listen to what you've to say, so she is basically the one who is targeted to share life's secrets with! I dunno how many secrets of God knows how many people she knows but one can trust her to not leak a word forward! She's the only person out of the lot who has seen my complete wild side- be it my sleep deprivied high state, my kutta-billi songs, my beep words, my pjs(the worst ones), my rambling away to glory stage, my randomness in general!
For me she's my confidant, a friend, philosopher and guide in true sense of the word! She pretty much knows me inside-out! No, Akanksha and Arushi, I haven't yet shown my intestines to Avnet!!
Avneet is very open-minded and I really like that about her. To be open-minded is a trait many boast of but only a few possess and Avneet has it in gallons!
For the longest period in time, I was convinced that I've found my alter-ego in Avnet, but that notion was shattered when we reached in 4th year and we had to handle various projects- minor, major etc. At that time, I spotted a major flaw in my assumption! I am the ultimate procrastinator while she, her philosophy is different, she wants to get rid of the unpleasant things asap in life! We've had many a clashes because of that but now we're at peace..
'The one with the IIM call' in the class, but she's very down-to-earth and humble about it, again some qualities that I admire about Avneet. She, as everyone has unanimously agreed on her page, is very intelligent and wise, mature and balanced, a good-listener, a good secret-keeper, a good advice-giver, a strong individual and any team's asset because she always does her job the earliest and most efficiently. This girl belongs to a very rare category of people called the I-don't-give-a damn-what-people-think category. It's a quality that one really needs to possess for peaceful existence, so I'm trying to incorporate this trait in me nowadays!
Avneet has the capability to match anyone's wit and talk to them in their own wavelength. This makes Avneet all-the-more in demand as a person you can vent out your stuff to or just hang around her being yourself. For eg, she matches sms with sms of Arushi's randomness, she gives the best reactions on Akanksha's pjs and she matches my philosophical mode by talking just as keenly about life in general!

ReplyDeleteHer judgement is of great importance during the exam-time. Everyone calls her up atleast once during an exam to enquire about the syllabus and the topics she suggests we should leave.
As is already mentioned, she looks really cute in her t-shirt and jeans and her characteristic walk.
She is an enlightened soul and I have the deepest regard for her, although I may not show it to her. Her opinions and points-of-view are of utmost importance to me.
This girl is also a walking-talking dictionary. Any word's meaning you wanna know, just ask her than looking up the dictionary. It saves time and effort.
Avneet is a classic example of looks can be deceptive! She'll appear to be a very simple girl-next door kinda person but this girl is no ordinary person, she has an unbelievable IQ level, great in English, very wise and has a great depth to her. She is a very determined and a focussed person. If she's set her eyes on something, then she'll rest only after completing the task. That's the sort of dedication she works with.
She is mostly found sitting with me in my car and unlike Akanksha, she minds her own business and let the driver(me) do the driving, another quailty that I appreciate but that's basically because she doesn't know the directions to a lotta places.
Her aloo are really famous and very tasty as well. Arushi's day can be made or ruined solely based on what Avneet's got for lunch. But now that Avnet has moved to hostel, the occassional Monday tiffin is eyed on much eagerly by those around her.
Books are her first love, music her second love. Everything else comes after that for her.
Avneet I'm glad that I've found a great friend like you in this journey of life and your very presence made my college life as one of the best phases in my life. I'll take along with me a lotta memories of the time spent with you. Be it our AAAA band, our car-time together, the long chats on the phone, our foil cricket, 20 questions game, dumb charades etc. I'm gonna remember and cherih each and every moment with you.
I hope you find your true calling in life and may you achieve everything that your heart desires for!
