Cool.. i like the quote idea.. but might be really tought to find so many quotes.. :) Best of luck avantika.. don't worry... its your opinion of others.. thats what the vine is for.. :)

ReplyDeleteLife they say, is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans. Right from the moment we are born, a sea of expectations awaits us. The tide of time sweeps by so fast that sometimes it seems a millennia just passed with one blink of the eye. That’s how I, and perhaps every engineer (end is near?) from out batch of 2010 must be feeling right now.
My journey through the corridors of UIET began in July 2006 and it shall continue in my heart forever for it is here that I came to know how a lifetime of friendship nurtures, what commitment means, what able leadership means and above all the mastering the concepts of “Bunking Theory” ..
It is said that one is known by the company one keeps, and whew!! What company we’ve had. I met with complete strangers here with different viewpoints, personalities and values and formed friendship that would last a lifetime. The time spent with you all has been truly an enriching experience for me and I am sure none of us would forget the days we spent here, nor the petty fights…the little misunderstandings and those moments full of laughter at the silliest jokes cracked..
I enjoyed my time here to the fullest! I should now say the golden words “ I will miss you UIET”< I know many people think that I wouldn’t have said this but I really mean it when I am saying this> !! I will miss the bunks, the jokes, the staring , the ignoring, the holi celebrations , the rusty benches… will miss these years !!
So here’s bidding a sweet adieu!! I hope that twenty years down the line when you sit on a comfy leather couch and open this souvenir to refresh your old memories, all you get is a nostalgic smile on your face as you see me smiling back at you, right here where we kept safe some of the best moments of our lives.
