She is an ultimate blend of innocence and maturity.when u think she is going to say something serious,she will surprise u by her cute funny remark and when u don't even expect,she will say that will keep ur mind thinking for a long time. wo kehte hain na " dil to bachha hai ji". the trait which we all want to have in ourselves, it comes naturally to her. respect for her is what u can't stop in ur heart. and rest i will think again and write.. i know she checks this everyday.
ReplyDeleteOk, so this is my first comment and by her own logic, it means I like Garima the most in the whole class.(It definitely has nothing to do with the fact that she threatened me with dire consequences if I didn't comment on her!:))
ReplyDeleteThis girl has got to be the most God-fearing person I know(seriously,she's the only person I know who calls Him 'Bhagwaanji' and has regular and intricately descriptive interactions with Him!) She also happens to be a great friend with a slightly overdeveloped maternal instinct and the most uninhibited and random laughter ever! (along with maybe Akanksha's..)
One of her many hidden talents is poetry. And make no mistake, they might sound childlike at first but every single one of her poems is a piece of art no less meaningful than the work of any poet laureate!! She's also a great source of entertainment especially when she's exhausted and cranky, and needs a lot of sleep, which she says is because every so often,one needs a 'break' from being awake!!
So I guess I'll keep it short(??) and simple and say I'm lucky to have a friend like her.
May you have the life you dream of and always keep in touch.. Will miss you very much, really :)
v have been in the same hostel unit for 365 days nw..out f which she has spent 364 days in my room(....jst kidding).well i love u sweetheart 4 wat ur..a very innocent,sweeet kid whos much younger at heart than wat she tells her age z.always caring 4 her friends nd ny 1 in this world..i adore u a lot 4 wat ur.(very different 4m the crowd) so plzzzz never change!!!!

hmmm GAMMU... she is so SWEET as you all well known..She is so loving,caring,funny girl.. v have lots of unforgettable memory,specially in hstl( studyng 2gether 4r exams,enjoyed hostel parties ,danced 2gether and ya one most interesting thing, hostel GOSSIPS(ssssshhhhhhh)..... one thing i want 2 tell is dat, although she is having childish nature but she has got good understanding nature..Situation ko achi tarah samajhti hain and handle it properly...she is one of my best frnd in class.. and she is one of my partner for enjoying punjabi songs in parties..Bas now i wish ki vo jaldi se patli ho jaye( really u vl look more cute moti)... hum bahut ladte hain and hamare songs ki choice bahut different hain,can never be same..She is very good dancer..one thing i missed is dat ,i did nt enjoyed hostel holi celeb. with garima..she complained abt dat and roti rehti hain... vo roti bahut cutely hain and jaldi se hasne bhi lag jati hain(budhu ko rona bhi ni ata..) i think uske bache bhi, uske jaise hi honge... hey i think i shud stop now, bahut baja di gammu ki,list kafi badi hain..ha but really i love her and vl miss her badly... ReplyDeleteLittle Gammu... she talks like a little kid and thinks like a matured adult! a very cheerful person with very unique attitude toward everything! she is very adorable when she is sleep deprived or is very tired! she is very caring and helpful to every person who means a lot to her! stay like that always gal! will miss u!

ReplyDeleteI remember coming to you telling you that I feel sad, and you even without pestering me to find out the problem were ever ready to help…with all the gyaan you gave about God and the mythological stories you told me...I must say I have learnt lot of stuff from you..
We have had our fights and we have parted ways where some one else was the cause but at the end of it only true bonds of friendship can last…and I hope ours will last for a long time to come…
Sweet and innocent , at times child like but naïve…but I think Garima has matured so much more since we first met…
Hanging out with her is always entertaining…she always does something funny unexpectedly and can always bring a smile to your face…
But I must bring a fact about her in notice of everyone its not the jokes she cracks which are funny but it’s the way she tells them and reacts to them!! Its just hilarious…she can sway from one side to the other just while cracking a joke!!
I remember her describing me her perfect home…pumpkin shaped house with the common room etc...(won’t disclose the rest)…
I want you to be happy all your life…Keep smiling.
Though terse but I do hope I succeeded and conveying to you how “happy” our friendship has been up till now….!

well. to continue the description of the laughing bell( this name suits her), i must say before hand that she is a kind of personality that is multifaceted. To really write about her is kind of difficult but interesting thing to do,especially when you have spent a lot and lot of time with her. When she is sleepy, she talks like a drunk person and sometimes she speaks so low and keep on doing that even after telling that you will think that ur ears needs some check up.

The kind of happiness she spreads around is amazing. What is more amazing is the situations in which she does that. If she is happy then she will crack jokes and her body will express her feelings which has capability to bring out smile on any damn sadu face. Even that of puneet virdi. i remember the practical file checking wala incidence. When she is upset and irritated, even then she has got this gift of expressing that feeling in a way that makes you smile( though she gets very angry with that and can get katti with u). really amazing.
She used to get very irritated when someone pulled her cheeks. but what one can do. they are so inviting. :)
One thing which she really loves is dancing. I know someday she will be a very good and renowned dancer. It's very natural to her and i can say that for sure.
The only person in the class with excellent voice modulation at different situations. The way she watches a movie on laptop is unbelievable. i hate that. please change that garima.
i don't need to say keep smiling because u do that. i don't need to say be positive because u believe in god and that gives u strength. i don't need to say to take care because u will never do that , i know.
the only thing which i need to say is "remain as you are and as you were". Change is the way of life but it's not the only way. You can do that and i wish you will. :)

I never knew she was this popular in the college until I read the above comments. Kudos! I met her in first year due to a common acquaintance and we’ve been frnds since then. It’s actually difficult to write something about her that no one knows, coz if u’ve talked to her even for an hour, u’ll know a lot. She just loves to talk. She can go on for hours and it’s amzing to hear the random stuff she can talk about. She’s extremely sweet and caring. Despite her bad handwriting she loves to write, whether it’s her diary or her latest obsession with poetry. She doesn’t like being addressed as a child but can act like one most of the times. She actually doesn’t like many things – being a girl, her present career options, silent people, sarcasm and, the list goes on and on. Her EQ is very very high. She can’t see anyone in any kind of trouble. One of the most amazing concept she has explained me is the Frnd - marriage invitees concept. I won’t disclose the details here. She’s been an amazing friend giving me loads of memories to cherish. Her list of items that are forbidden to her is quite opposite to her height. She’s extremely vulnerable to diseases and so she can easily empathize with u when u r sick. She has had some bad experiences with people in her life and I sincerely hope she finds all “true” frnds from now on. Her smile is infectious and I agree with the comment which mentions her cheeks seem “inviting”. It’s not every day, that u meet good and caring people like her, and when u do , don’t let her go. One amazing thing about her is that she loves sharing her problems or else she would have exploded by now. I’m not sure, but I believe she would be the Agony aunt for many in her hostel. She loves dancing and music and million other things, just the priorities keep changing. Her wish list is always growing both in length and the weirdness of the content. I hope she ends up doing what she loves most and ends up with a person as sweet as her. Take care and thank you for everything! I know u hate the exclamations but here’s something u love. :-)
